Accessibility and Special Needs

In keeping with Shakespeare WA’s mandate of producing “THEATRE FOR EVERYONE” we are committed to making our productions as accessible as possible.

In 2014 Shakespeare WA will increase accessibility by:

1)    Hosting an interpreted performance for the WA Deaf Society that will be signed by Auslan interpreters.  This will be held at 8pm on Tuesday, 28th January 2014. When booking for this performance please use the code wads to obtain special ticket prices.

2)    Hosting an audio described performance for the Association for the Blind of WA. This will be held at 8pm on Thursday, 23th January 2014. When booking for this performance please use the code guidedogs to obtain special ticket prices.

3)   Shakespeare WA is proud to be affiliated with the Companion Card Program, giving people with a disability the opportunity to be included in community events and activities fairly.  Accordingly, we are happy to issue cardholders with a second ticket for their companion at no charge.
